Swasthani.com Swasthani Ripper

Yesterday I came to know that I can listen Swasthani online at this site, www.swasthani.com and I decided to write a swasthani audio downloader. Since it would be useful for everyone, here is the script.

From the site itself, Sri Swasthani Brata Katha is a very popular ritual observed in Nepal in the Poush month (January – February) during winter. Goddess Sri Swasthani, known to grant wishes of her devotees, is worshipped for the whole month of Poush. The Swasthani Brat Katha (story) is recited everyday. The month long telling of the tales are dedicated to the Goddess and the stories that are mainly narrated are those of Swasthani Devi, Lord Shiva and other Gods.

Flash Punisher Plugin For Counter Strike Server [New Release]

Recently I wrote a small AMX Mod X plugin that kills the player who throws flashbangs in counter strike and this post provides the plugin and source code of the plugin for the download.

Why this plugin

Well there are probably few other flash bang punishment plugins already available for download but all I needed was a minimal plugin that would just kill the flashbanger and prevent the effect of the flashbang to other players.

At the first look, the plugin may sound stupid but we play a lot of aa_dima map and few players were continually throwing the flashbangs. There are several maps which are meant to be played by making use of shooting skills that the use of flashbangs. But some people never understand.

I chose to have death as the punishment because that would be the worst punishment any player would expect. And, they will surely be not throwing flashbangs in next rounds.

Installation is similar to other plugins. Copy the flash_kill.amxx file to cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins/ and add a new line "flash_kill.amxx" (without quotes) in the cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/plugins.ini.

CVARS:
tg_flashpunish 0 - prevent the killing of player on throwing flashbang.
tg_flashpunish 1 - the plugin shows its effect i.e. the player dies on throwing flashbang.

Very Simple PHP Obfuscator Tool From Techgaun

Hi everybody, I've coded a very small snippet of code that will perform very basic PHP obfuscation so that programmers can protect their code from non-programmers. The obfuscation is by no means the advanced one and easily reversible. Only purpose is to prevent script kiddies and leechers from taking away your source code and distributing those as theirs.

GooQuiz v. 0.1 Released : Useful For Googling Challenge

GooQuiz is a small web based tool to use as a networked googling quiz software. This tool was developed for IT Meet 2011 event organized by Kathmandu University Computer Club on Dec 4-5, 2011.

The tool allows any number of users to access the system and participate in the googling quiz. A question is given and its answer has to be given within the allocated time after using the google search engine. The person to answer the question first wins the game.

Installation:

- Copy all the files in the folder "googling" to your web folder.
- Give proper permission to the ./pages/question.php file to make it writable. (eg. chmod u+x pages/question.php)
- Open MySQL interface of your choice, create a database called googling and then import dump.sql
- Open ./lib/classes/DBConnection.php and then set the correct database server, username and password.
- Finally open ./config/config.php and set the different configurations as per your need.
- Admin panel is located at ./admin/ and if you need to access admin panel from remote computers, set the $localonly = 0.
- Finally, this tool is yet to be completed and requires little bit techie person to handle it. Addition of questions and few other stuffs should be done from MySQL interface.

Coding might be rough since I had to do it in a single night within very minimum time available. And a lot of stuffs are not user-friendly and admin-friendly. Maybe I'll extend it in the next year IT Meet event. Till then, cya. Bye.
